The Midori XS Compact Scissors are designed for both safety and portability. It has been recognized with Japan’s Good Design Award for its thoughtful design.

The blades slide in and out with a simple one-touch mechanism and lock securely in place, so they won’t extend by accident when stored in a pencil case or pocket. Despite their tiny size when retracted, they offer a 36 mm cutting edge and are sharp enough for thicker paper. The blades are treated to resist glue buildup, while the handle has a non-slip grip that makes detailed cutting comfortable. A small strap hole lets you keep them handy for everyday use.
